“Went to this one, second row seats. When the band came on stage a few guys on the front row stood up and started screaming Bowie, Bowie. My mate, Paul, grabbed hold of the back of one of their jackets. ripped the vent right up to his collar and said "Fucking shut up WE'RE here to see Iggy!" they promptly sat down!
Afterwards we tried to get into Pips to see the Drones, but were refused entry - No jeans or 'pumps' allowed! How very street!”
“I attended this concert. I was right at the back of the stalls, last row on the right hand side. We heard people at the front calling out for Bowie but we cold not see. Then a rumour waved towards the back of the room that David Bowie was either in the wings or playing keyboards. I never knew and wondered recently and now I know. Thanks.”
