While I was uploading that last flyer from The University I saw this article and thought it kind of pertinent and relevant in these troubled times. I remember this incident quite well as it was national news at the time, as the story of Viraj Mendez was to become some time later; I’ve definitely got something to say about that at a later date. This was the case of a leading Tory (it makes my skin crawl just to mention those perverse, spineless amoebas’ names!), visiting the University and au naturellement, student protests and riots ensuing; (well students have got to be good for something....). Anyway the police colluded in attempting a miscarriage of justice and were found to be not quite as honest as the day is long. It seems not much has changed; old boss /new boss; a severe case of history repeating with the student riots in Trafalgar Square all these years on.....
That’s old Dave, the silver-haired fox, stood by the girl on the stretcher, who was the head of security at The Uni for many a year. God bless his cotton socks...
