To have a change from Trad Jazz, Blues, Big Band concerts, I occasionally went to Brass Band concerts. Although there was quite a few good brass bands in the area, this was the only programme I managed to retain. The numbers played were: Spirit of Pageantry, Magic Flute, Angels Guard Thee, Escapade, Wee Macgregor, New world symphony, Simple Aveu, Nights of Gladness, Carousel, and Slavonic Rhapsody. A great night and made a pleasant change.
