It was always a great night listening to a fantastic group playing Trad Jazz. The group consisted of:-
Alan Hare-Trombone
Eric Welch-Clarinette
Jimmy Yarrow-Trumpet
Bryan Houghton-Piano
Ron Baker-Guitar
Doug Martin-Drums
Derek Manley-Bass

I can also remember this place for serving a great pint, it was Yougers No 3 at 1/9d a pint but if you felt realy flush you could get Youngers No1 for 3/6d a pint. No wonder the jazz sounded even better as the night went on.
