Programme
Free Trade Hall
1957

Back in the 50s a blues singer Sister Rosetta Tharpe came to manchester and performed at the Free Trade hall. She was accompanied by a well known trad. group called Chris Barbers Jazz Band.As you will probably note, the programme cost 1 shilling, I think this equates to 5p in the current money.A great night, some of your readers may have also been there.
