Wonder what that “RAW” night was all about.....must have thought long and hard into the night to come up with that particular slogan.....The Jazz Butcher; that’s tweaked my curiosity for some reason.....might launch myself head first into the Googlesphere on that account; hope I can make my way back.....
Phew, made it back intact....don't google much; bit like going in a bookshop with a book token unprepared as to what you want; (in my own case ) a bad idea. You (I) spend hours looking and leave with nothing but a headache to show for it....very true story. Aaaanyway googled that band. Again, not familiar, but found out they had a song called "Southern Mark Smith" and an album called "Fishcoteque. Could be worth further investigation.....Perhaps in the middle distance future....

“Ah yes, must be '88; thought those Wee Papa Girl Rappers were from a later time...... That means there's a jump in these Poly flyers from '83 to '88....sweet relief! Early on in the piece, I spent a fair bit of time going through all these random bits of paper trying to make sense of it all ,using a calender print-out to try and ascertain the years . Looks like '83 and '88 days and dates fall the same but it's now rectified. There's probably other discrepancies, but if there's a problem, yo I'll solve it.....mind you '78, '88', '98...it all feels a bit like yesterday and kinda rolls into one. Still got a ways to go with the uploads but definitely light at the end of the tunnel. Cheers.”

“Nice on Dubwise-er; 'Jazz Butcher' was on Creation; and the best known track you mention, 'Southern Mark Smith' is on Spotify if you fancy giving it a spin.”
