Godley and Creme

With a cleverness that 10cc themselves would have been proud of, this is a proof of an advert that would have been part of the 'Cream of Manchester' series of ads for Boddingtons. The man in the photo is of course ex-10cc member Kevin Godley and the 'Creme' of Manchester refers to Godley's long-time collaborator Lol Creme. I don't know if this was ever actually used as part of the campaign but it was featured in the newsletter of the 10cc Fan Club in the late 1990s. The agency behind the ad were BBH (London) and the photographer was Tiff Hunter.
