The Fall, numerous times here, one time supporting The Only Ones I think. Might have been at this gig, Muppet ,band leader and general man about town, was doing a spot of D.J.ing as I recall and The Fall manager at the time , one Kay Carroll, got all Bolshie over the mike from the stage with said D.J. maestro and a bit of a slanging match ensued.....That bit wasn’t even on the night’s programme of events ; it was just a little spontaneous extra something. People were generous spirited like that back in them days....above and beyond the call of duty to make it that bit more spesh....Thanks a bunch Peeps..(I’m probably the only person who remembers it. I knew I should have drank more...It’s said people drink to forget; these days I just forget to drink.....and so on....
