Damen und Herren, without much further ado, here’s a whole heap of D.J.playlists from Legends and The Ritz on Mondays; it may be of some use to any dusty-fingered crate diggers out there. I did a few before so hope it’s for your edification and to your satisfaction; definitely going down a time tunnel with this one....
First cab of the rank is Legends at Wigan Pier :I know not from whence it came. “Prezense”...never flippin’ heard of ‘em, but they were obviously destined for greater things, or so their promoter claimed. I’ve still got quite a lot of these records and a lot of vinyl, full stop; mostly gathering dust. But when the muse is on me I still pull some out, scrape off the gunk and go on a journey into sound; mostly to the deafening sound of indifference...maybe white noise actually does sound better...”Der Mussolini”...cracker. The Hitmen...don’t recall them but heard rather excitedly the other day, they’re playing at a small club up the road in a couple of weeks time; so should check ‘em out and see, if like a fine red wine they’ve gotten better with age; not holding my breath....
If I'd been in attendance I fancy I might have asked Depeche Mode to get the beers in seeing as they were going to be huge and loaded.
