Ah Splodge, where are they now (rhetorical...). Husker Du ;wouldn't have minded that....Can't recall ever seeing a band in Oldham , though I do remember seeing Stephen Berkoff's "Decadence" (tops!), as done by Fusion Theatre , who were based in Hulme I think; and "Playboy of the Western World" at The Colloseum; nice theatre that...
While I'm out and about....a band called Frogbox over in Rochdale; my eldest brother wanted to see 'em so I drove him over. Nearly crashed in the fog on the way back; still it made an old hippy very happy. Nice one our kid....
