Anybody's guess..... Seems like there was an abundance of "Alternative" nights in these times. Was never quite sure what exactly "alternative " meant, always felt it was a bit of a wimpy name. Alternative to what?...to the "Mainstream" I presume. Obviously it was a loose term covering many styles but it seemed odd to define a whole genre by what it wasn't i.e so-called "mainstream', rather than by what it actually was, which was -------(fill in the blank).....I think that kind of, sort of makes sense....
Old Edvard Munch's "The Scream" ;it's still a classic. I'm sure we've all had nights out where we felt a bit like that....
