Guessing this might have been round '84 before the upstairs became entirely different to the downstairs.It really did become almost a different club with plush seats, different music,generally an older crowd and more like a bar than a venue.We often would start the night upstairs and head down for the last hour or two.As you entered the revamped venue there was a big sign saying "No Drugs Allowed On The Premises". Only thing was it was upside down and stayed that way for years.Obviously this was some unwritten code for do what you like...
