I remember this night 'cos it was very quiet.there was maybe five people in the room and I was probably three of 'em.This place was a bit of a dive. It was next door to The Cyprus and made that club look like a veritable palace.
I knew the singer of the band had gone places when he was guest star in one of Billy The Fish's Charity football matches. He played a cracking first half as I recall but was definitely a little lacklustre in the second. etc,etc...I believe he is now retiring from Showbiz.Perhaps he lost his mojo and is waiting to re-find it....
