Michael Barnes-Wynters debut programme at the newly opened Contact Theatre in 1999 featured lead artists Graham Massey and Nitin Sawhney produce two separate performances over a 72 hour residency in the new building with over forty musicians and VJs.
Following this residency with a dozen mucicans and artists including the likes of Tracay Elizabeth, Chris Jam and Segun Lee French, Nitin went onto be gain a Mercury Prize nomination for his beyond Skin album in 2000
