Loudon Wainwright at the Free Trade Hall;had a bit of a soft spot for the cynical old bastard.We were sat upstairs right above the stage and me girlfriend heckled/engaged him in conversation a couple of times,which,when your dealing with a folk singer in a big hall can be slightly embarassing.Anyway it was all larks and roses really.Had the urge to shout out "Judas" but I feel,besides looking like a goose ,I would have been a decade or so too late (just jesting).Looks like his kids are doing well for themselves...
