A very young Ian Brown in a band called The Patrol. Not sure how many gigs they did and can't remember the other members of the band but this was as far as I know Ian Brown & Johnny Squire's first venture into the music biz! I can't in all honesty say they were very good! Who'd have thought....

“I saw patrol at LOSTOCK YOUTH CLUB! FRIDAY 11TH JUNE 1980 they were support with stray dogs (stretford) and the mighty CORROSIVE YOUTH also from strtford FOR 10 BOB!”

“Played with The Patrol at an all dayer in Alty Precinct Sorry to say but Brownie had a bad attitude even then! Also played Sale Annexe a few times with Corrosive Youth. TOP band!”

“SMHALL94, good stuff. Corrosive Youth were much better than The Patrol. My band was called either Wild Youth, or KK Dive. (Depending on exact year).”
