Backstage Pass
Northern Quarter

This is a pass from the Northern Quarter Festival 2000. Various Northern Quarter record shop staff were asked to DJ at the event. I played a record by Kiss in Stevenson Square, at which point several hundred punters swiftly departed in search of records it's OK to like. Next I played a track at the wrong speed, to the amusement of the three tramps who gamely made up my remaining audience. I also played the wrong side of a Prince twelve. My DJ-ing career began and ended on this fateful day.
