22nd September 2009

Ticket from a Richard Hawley instore performance at Piccadilly Records. I took my Mum along to this. It was very hot and full. The sound was brilliant.

There was a little boy of about 6 at the front dressed up as Hawley himself in a sharp black suit and Buddy Holly glasses. He was very excited indeed.

As was my Mum.

Cute.

“The young boy and his family had travelled over from Grimsby I think.

I have a couple of photos but they are more of the backs of heads rather than Mr Hawley. It was just Richard and Shez Sheridan but they sounded amazing. TV and Radio's Stuart Maconie was in the audience and Richard played a live session on Marc Riley's BBC 6 Music show later on.

I think this is what Richard played in Piccadilly Records

As The Dawn Breaks
Ashes On The Fire
Lady Solitude
The Sea Calls
For Your Lover Give Some Time”
