“We used to go to see whatever was on "Half price Mondays" in the late 70's. They'd "multi screened" it but done it with such poor soundproofing you could listen to the other film at the same time as watching yours..very post modern”

“Never seen anything like that myself although I do remember something about Betty (Driver) late of Coronation St singing there pre WW2. So it was kind of a venue. The White Lion bar in the White Lion pub next door, I believe saw some action in the 60s & 70s.”
