The Very Fellows, Splitz, Xcess
UMIST (Barnes Wallis Building)
1986

Splitz were a very tight and loud bunch of Rock geezers mainly from North Manchester, including Warren "Gilly" Gilligan (Guitar), Steve Nicholson (Guitar), Ken "Ego" Egan (Bass) and Gary Leach (Drums, formerly of White Lightnin') and a short haired singer from south Manchester I can't remember the name of. Gilly, Steve, Ken and Gary had previously been in Splitz (another bunch of slightly more hairy rock geezers with a different, long red haired singer). Gilly and Steve later formed The Very Fellows (a bunch of very short haired rock geezers)
The year is a guess
