“I saw The Steampacket (Long John Baldry, Rod Stewart, Julie Driscoll & Brian Auger ) at the Manor Lounge one Saturday night. I had seen them play a couple of hours earlier at The Rex in Wilmslow.”

“Also The Small Faces & John Lee Hooker played there in 1965,I once had the contracts for these two performances (amongst others) sadly I let them go”
