Setlist
The Electric Circus
13th May 1977

The set list for Wayne County and the Electric Chairs gig on Friday May 13 at the Electric Circus, written by Wayne County on the back of a hotel receipt from the Madason Hotel, London W2.

It was given to me as I was reviewing the gig for Issue 2 of Ghast Up fanzine by his road manager. I have to say Wayne and his band were amongst the nicest people in music I ever met.

“I may be wrong here but around this time one Sting, Stewart Copeland & Henri Padovani as The Police were support band.Copeland & Sting also acted as bass & drums for Wayne / Jayne.......Unless that was 78......feel free to correct this!”

“the Police didn't support this gig, although Wayne played the Circus again in July. I don't recall the Police backing Wayne/Jayne as Wayne and the Electric Chairs were a settled band at that time. The Police did back Cherry Vanilla at the time.”

“Thanks Martin....Sorry got my facts wrong you are totally correct....was Cherry Vanilla they backed.
They did play with Elecy Chairs...Henri Padovani the original Police guitarist went on to play with them after he was dumped for Andy Summers.”
