Joy Division

this was a bass cab of 1600 watts rating with four Gauss 400 watt 15 inch built for Peter Hook and the whole bass set up was invented in discussions between Martin Hannett, Chris Hewitt and Hooky when Joy Division were recording upstairs above the shop in Cargo studios. this cab was stolen the first time New Order went to America before they had done one gig and then we built two separate 2 x15 800 watt cabs which Hooky still uses today along with the clone theory and the Alembic pre amp
