First time I ever saw Mark Bolan,managed to blag his pic,security at the Free Trade Hall,was more or less non existance.,so it was always dead easy to talk your way down to the changing rooms,to get stuff signed and have a talk to the artistes.I can remember John Peel was the compare for the evening.
