The studio was opened in 1988 mainly to record The Ride stuff but also did other sessions to just help pay the bills, We later sold it as a going concern to Phil Ellis who kept it going as Coconut Grove Studio's, The Ride recorded "Stranger Than Fiction" there, the album was always refered to by the Ride fans as "The Red Album"
