“I'm sure we complained about the amount of room and somebody in all seriousness suggested setting the drums up on the pool table....my Marshalls are on the pool table (even though they look like they're floating) so that gives you an idea of how much room there wasn't! It really is all the fun of the fair when you're dealing with people like that. I think the accidents played after us (changed their name to Shotgun something??) and people were shouting for us to get up again during their set.”

“i think this gig was with a band called something like "dmob"..the singer looked a bit like the honey monster and the band was pretty much punk by numbers and sounded like everything else.....the setting up on the pool table was a joking request by the accidents (from a previous gig) which darran took lterally for a minute...before we all laughed that is.”

“Ha! I remember the 'pool table' incident......it was some pub in Bolton, like a shoe box....I asked 1 of Shotgun Solution (or were they The Accidents, then?) where the kit was going, and deadpan, he goes "Landlord said to set it up on the pool table. We need to put the board on it first though, will you give us a hand?", and I goes "Yeah".......then he just smirked, and I knew the twat'd had me........oh, how we laughed.”
