808State- playing Creamfields in Buenos aires -Argentina
Back in the day 808 Used to produce a band from Wrexham called K Klass,Theyre manager at the time was a certain Mr James Barton,who ran Quadrant Park-a popular rave spot in Liverpool- many a convoy set off to Q Park on a saturday night
after the clubs shut in MCR. for the extra 2 hours in Liverpool.
James Barton then opened a new club in Liverpool called Cream..So when he turned up in the dressing room in Buenos Aires ,I said James what are you doing here - he replied I run this thing..which was a bit embarasing.as it was some massive 40000 people festival on the otherside of the world.
now thats what I call British cultural export initiative!
