This was a semi - final of the Vitavox Live Sound Award held at the Foresters Arms pub in Harpurhey [very glamourous !!]. It was sponsored by Piccadilly Radio 261 which explains all the logos behind the band, we were nominated by DJ Phil Sayer.Sad Cafe were also in the competition but didn't play on this night. The bands played for 15 minutes each to an audience mostly comprised of members of the other competing bands and a few locals who wandered in wondering what was going on in their pub. We came in 2nd to a prog rock band, Grace, from Stoke-on-Trent much to our dismay. We had the best flares though !!!
