Stefano is a legend of the Manchester music scene. As a producer he has had releases on Rob Gretton's "Pleasure Records" before being signed to the now defunkt "Creation" lable (home to Oasis & Primal Scream). His releases at this time sold in excess of 70,000 units.

As a DJ Stefano has done it all. He began his career in the early 1990s as part of the MVITA Soundsystem, promoters of legendary warehouse parties in Manchester and the North West of England.

During these heady days of acid house, Stefano supported The Stone Roses at Spike Island alongside Paul Oakenfold and Frankie Bones and has toured as support for bands such as Happy Mondays, 808 State and Inspiral Carpets.

He has played everywhere from Glastonbury (1990 & 1992) Brixton Academy, Reykyavik (Iceland) Ibiza, Slovenia, sharing billing with Sasha, Carl Cox, K-Klass, Fabio, Groverider and Goldie.

In 1994 Stefano became resident at One Tree Island with Mr.Scruff and travelled around the UK to Womad festival (95 - 98), Ministry of Sound, The Hacienda, Back 2 Basics, Home, The Thekla, etc

Stefano has been a support dj for bands Terry Callier, The Jb's, The Four Brothers, Dust Junkies, Oasis, Run DMC, Audioweb, Sub Sub, ACR.

To date Stefano has played with dj's Marshall Jefferson, Farley Jackmaster funk, Robert Owens, Andrew Wetherall, Carl Craig, Howie B, Dobie, Spacer, Coldcut, Bill Brewster, Miss Honey Djon, Arthur Baker, Kriss Needs, Scream Team, Mantronix, Lol Hammond, Terry Farley, Faze Action, jon Stapleton, Iain Carey, Soul Avengerz, Ketoloco, The Rejekts, Doves, Snow Patrol, Crazy P, Mr. Scruff, Greame Park, Mike Pickering, Moonboots, Justin Robertson, Norman Cook, Jon Carter, Milton Jackson, Stevie Sole, Pier Bucci, Alex Patterson, Mark One, The Wiseguys, Derek Da Large, Freq Nasty, Claude Vonstroke, Sick Robot, Reverso 68, East Coast Boogie Men, El Diablo's, Charles Webster, James Holroyd, Luke Unabomber, Darius Syrossian, etc

Always moving with the times, DJ Stefano is still a firm fixture in the UK club scene, busy every week with residencies in Manchester, Liverpool & Blackburn with Shoot Speed, Disco Outcasts, Cosmic Boogie & Greg Wilson.

Stefano is one of the most versatile DJs around, equally at home playing cosmic disco, italo, electro freestyle and punk funk, as he is playing house and techno, as comfortable playing for 2 hours as he is for 5 hours.
