This was a review from the Manchester Independent student newspaper of the bands playing in the Lounge part of the Union when Jimi Hendrix played in the Main Hall. I formed the band 'Snooks' (which was miscalled Snoops here) and we played a few gigs around including this one. It is also a review of Van Der Graaf Generator's last show before moving to London. I was there when the band formed but that's another story.
