Dry Bar
1989

Dry 201.
In 1989 I was having guitar lessons at the Chase music shop on Oldham Street and the guitar instructor mentioned to us this new bar down the road. We went into the recently opened Dry201. I was a james fan and had a denim jacket with the james logo embroidered on the back. We had a few beers, it was a very different place from the usual city centre pubs. The bouncer shouted after me once we'd left - 'James! James! I'll have to see your ID next time!'.
