Issue 9 of Avant, the final issue, managed to spell 'Ecstacy' wrong on the cover of the 'Ecstasy issue', which included a guide to Tantric Sex and a feature on Jesus being a magic mushroom. It also included an interview with James about to break through to the mainstream, a piece on Manc video creators Swivel and an article asking why, when Manchester was so hip, people were still watching The Hitman and Her!
