Programme
Manchester Guitar Circle
1970

This is the programme from a recital by John Williams at the Lesser Free Trade Hall, promoted by the Manchester Guitar Circle on 2nd February 1970. The event was dedicated to the memory of MGC co-founder Terry Usher (1909-69) and the Danish luthier Harald Petersen (1910-69), whose business was based in the Lake District. The sons of Harald Petersen are believed to have continued to build guitars until the 1980s, with some surviving examples of Petersen guitars still in the possession of MGC members in 2024.
