Spire Circle performing downstairs at Disorder in the NQ. They are a Manchester-based darkwave band with lead singer Gregg Neville. This gig also featured two other local bands - Still Forever and West Echo Three.
It was also the opening game of the Euros 2024 - Germany vs Scotland. I was running up and down the stairs between the bands to catch the game. I needn't have bothered as Scotland got gubbed!
I don't think people realise what a great variety of music is available on their doorstep that doesn't cost over £100 a ticket. It's great that there are still so many small bands gigging away at small venues across the city.
