“What street is this on?”

“Looks like John Dalton St, looking back across Deansgate, past Sawyers and down Bridge St. The towerblock is the tax office.

Is this near where Rare Records was where Ian Curtis used to work? I've vague memories of going in once.”

“It's almost exactly where Rare Records was I believe, directly to the left of the photographer.”

“Is that a young Mick Hucknell centre left?”

“If not it's his double.”

“I think it is Mick as he used to live back to back to my friend and we saw him a lot so I would say so. remember being on the march that day when we thought we could change the world!”

“That's definately Mick Hucknall.”

“I thought it was. I remembered he was around the float with us at times , but its nice to be sure of these things as it was a long time ago and memory is after all an uncertain thing.”

“Yes, certainly Mick Hucknall. His band, Frantic Elevators, were part of the early Manchester Musicians Collective scene.”

“Yes, they were members of the Manchester Musicians Collective
Property of …an all female band I was in supported them at some other gigs as well”
