I only had a very brief couple of FaceBook messenger exchanges with Alan Wise. He said that Allen Ginsberg stayed with him once. However, I can't find any evidence to back this up. It might have been 1984 when Wise, Ginsberg, Cooper Clarke and Nico went to Liverpool for a reading at the Neptune Theatre on April 19th. (See James Young's 'Songs They Never Played on the Radio' for that story). But Ginsberg was back in London the next day to prepare for a reading at the Royal Albert Hall.
