Advert for the Sisters of Mercy gig at University of London Union (ULU).This gig is notable for the attendance of some individuals who would soon become part of the Smiths set-up: Rough Trade’s publicist Scott Piering, Grant Showbiz who would become the band’s sound-engineer and John Walters, John Peel’s producer who, on the strength of their performance that night, offered them their first Peel session.
