Here is Virgin Records Short Circuit: Live at the Electric Circus 10" poster.
The poster features Manchester punk bands - Buzzcocks, Joy Division, The Drones, The Fall, Salford's punk poet John Cooper Clarke, and roots reggae band Steel Pulse from Birmingham.
A compilation of songs recorded Live at the Electric Circus, Manchester on 1st and 2nd October 1977 to mark the last two nights at the venue (aka the Russell Club) before it closed.
The 10" album, released in 1978, was available on black vinyl, the first 5,000 pressed on fashionable blue vinyl, and an unknown number on orange vinyl supposedly, as promos.
In 1977, Joy Division were Warsaw but had changed their name come 1978, so I guess Virgin went along with the new name.
My Short Circuit collection on all three vinyl variations are shown above.
Apparently, posters were to be found inside some orange vinyl issued sleeves. But mine was given to me 'off the wall' at Virgin Records on Lever Street some months after release in 1978.

This poster is fantastic, I understand you didn't design yourself, would it be alright to include this image in a post-graduate student Documentary film on Manchester punk & rock culture? Let me know what you think, cheers.”
