Virus Music Scene was a music column published in a free local bi-weekly paper circulated in Stockport, called Down Your Way.

The column was written by Nigel Grayson, bassist with Inside Edge, under the pseudonym Mark Power.

Virus Music Scene was primarily written to promote local bands, musicians, gigs, and venues alongside signed and newly signed artists.

Virus Music Scene also promoted bands at concerts and occasionally on KFM radio.
