Royal Northern College Of Music (RNCM), Northern School Of Music (NSM)

When the RNCM was created, the Northern School of Music's musical efforts were directed to the RNCM. Its speech and drama department, along with all of those students, was absorbed by what is now Manchester Metropolitan's School of Theatre (then the Manchester College of Art and Design).
