The Northern School of Music stage "The Merry Wives of Windsor" opera at the Lesser Free Trade Hall. Produced by Sumner Austin and conducted by Aylmer Buesst, it starred Norma Day, June Glynne Jones, John Hughes, Albert Haskayne and Harold Townson.
