"The evening had been very pleasant, but it's gone so quickly; Hitler's foul interruption I fear," laments Griff to Ida. "I do hope there won't be another during the night."
It is so cold that "the first few minutes are painful" when he goes to bed.
He hopes to see her on Tuesday.
