This is a print of the artwork for the August 20, 1989 installment of my syndicated newspaper feature "Biographic," spotlighting the band Mike + The Mechanics, who featured former Sad Cafe singer Paul Young on vocals. The print has been signed by all the members of the band.

I gave the original art to Mike Rutherford when the band played the Pacific Ampitheter in Costa Mesa, California that fall.

This art ran, in color, in 50 or so newspapers throughout the U.S. and Canada that weekend.
