Steve McGarry's First Offence

This was from a photo shoot in the summer of 1980. Kevin Kinsella had put a few quid into recording a couple of tracks at a studio in Liverpool - the name escapes me now - so he decided we needed some promo pics.

Kevin was a large gentleman of the cockney persuasion. He had an accountancy business, but he also had his finger in a lot of pies, and he went on to manage Robbie Williams for a spell. Round about this time, he was acting for one of The Bachelors, if memory serves.

This line-up featured Toby Toman and the late John Cunningham, both of whom wound up in Nico's band. After which, Toby then went on to Primal Scream.
