The Northern School of Music drama students stage Dear Octopus by Dodie Smith, at the Green Room Theatre (Little Peter Street). Dear Octopus is about how 3 generations that can never escape the clutches of its large family. Dorothy "Dodie" Gladys Smith was the author of 101 Dalmatians and was herself local to Manchester.
