"Strange Ululations", songs from the Les Howarth film "Fistula !"

The cover shows Mark Joell battling the elements inside Stoodley Pike - we had a strange time there, lovely sunny day until we climbed up inside the tower, and then violent hailstorm and wind until we left - when the sun came out again.

Stoodley Pike (on the hills above Todmorden) was built by Freemasons in 1814 to celebrate the end of the Napoleonic Wars (a bit early - Napoleon made a come-back the next year).

The tower was built on the site of a prehistoric stone circle.
