“Er, yeah. Been meaning to dig out some vinyl by Blitz - were they local?? They were Oi/punk but split and went JD/NO under Chris's production.”

“The New Fads / What? Noise gig was filmed for Granada TV's 'The New Sessions'. The singer, who had been in Blitz, was Tim.. I can't recall his surname. Their only LP, 'Fat', originally issued on One Little Indian in 1990, has just been reissued on Julia Adamson's Invisible Girl Records. Julia was the third member of What? Noise and married to Chris Nagle at the time. Following the release of the LP, Tim left and Mark Hoyle and Jay Taylor moved over from Dub Sex to create the new What? Noise line-up. They never released anything while they were together and gigging (including some notable dates with The Fall) but their recordings from that time are now available as two CD EPs from Invisible Girl Records. (No, I'm not working for Julia).”

“Hi Pure,
I'm making a doc. about what happened when the hacienda was knocked down & sold at auction. All of my profits are going to Kidneys for Life. Do you think I could use a pic of your I Carpets flyer from the Hacienda? If so could you please take a close up pic of it.

Cheers
Chris”
