I took this photo of CP Lee on Friday 28 July 2006 when I went to his house to interview him on the subject of Why Manchester is a pre-eminent city for music. He was witty and extremely well-informed. We sat in the front room which is full of music-related artifacts including the jazz trumpeter in the left of the picture, as well innumerable books on music and other themes.
