“From what I can find on the net, Manchester- based band Tora Tora released one self-financed single, 'Red Sun Setting' on the Mancunian Metal label, presumably around 1979.

The American metal band Tora Tora formed in Memphis in 1985 and recorded two albums for A&M, before folding in 1994.

A band called Tora released an album called Shadow Boxing in 1999 - which combined elements of free jazz, hip-hop and Japanese-style breakbeats...

Tora! Tora! Tora! was the 1970 film about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.”

“Hi Arnie/Big Block 454, Just wanted to know if there was anyway at all to get hold of this album 'Red Sun Setting'
And also, whether or not it is true they were featured somewhat in the first edition of Kerrang?
I've heard stories but never been able to find any truth.

By the way this is Mick Leach's son. Please email me if you have any info, MickLeach919@hotmail.com.
Thanks!”

“Loved Mick to bits. Was a good friend of his. Bless him. Remember watching Hostage at the Spread, Concorde and in Middleton. Still friends with many people who remember this lovely fella. Great singer, great guitarist, great comic, Awesome. Later when he was with Orchis, I was at every gig they did with Steve Cooke, Dave Lawless and Dustin aka Ian Bintcliffe (now Tour Manager with Uriah Heep) Good times”
