“How cool was that guitar!
Sadly missed, even now...”
“Go Andy Go”

“Probably worth adding Hyde Town Hall as a venue. Pretty sure there was an event in the late 80s there called The Mancunian Way. Think the Inspirals played??”

“You're correct Tony. It was Andy and me (Keith) of the Images who organised this event, although by then we were no longer The Images. I will try and dig out the clips, tickets and line-up of the event and post them on the site under Hyde Town Hall.”

“Nice one. Sadly, I didn't manage to make it along despite only living up the road at the time.”

“Had completely forgotten about you lot. I used to know some people from Salford that followed you around Did you ever play or go to a 60's night that used to be on at Lowry's in Hyde on a Monday night?”

“Hi Jax, we used play Lowrys regularly, including the 60s nights. Lowrys was a fun venue and we always played to a good crowd there.”

“Ah Lowry's! Later of course the criminally named "Jekyll's of Hyde." I used to walk past Lowry's every morning on my way to 6th form. It had a low flat roof and the owner or someone lived in a flat on an upper level. He had 2 massive alsations roaming on the flat roof as a security measure - very alarming when they leaned right over the edge barking at you!

Anyone used to go to the Northern Soul nights at Hyde Botanical or Oldham's Battteries clubs down the hill? (Near the Kingston Stink which caused some debate last time I mentioned it!)”

“The chap who owned the club and the dogs now lives on mainland Spain somewhere and he loved the 60's music so those nights were really good. Great to be reminded of the band glad you put the pics up. Tony, the Kingston Stink is now a new build residential area with no smell of burning animal innards etc etc”
